Jack

July 22, 2022 by

Jack was a rat terrier born and raised in Fort Collins. We adopted him as a puppy from the Zen Den Kennel. He was a fun and silly boy full of energy. I’ll never forget the first time I heard his big boy bark, and from there he found his voice. While he had boundless energy, he was also a loving dog who loved to give kisses and to cuddle. Jack was so in tuned to others’ emotions and was a source of comfort in hard times. Jack did great in obedience classes and even tried his paw at agility. Agility was not his strong suit as he was terrified of the teeter and was more concerned about saying hello to other people and dogs than completing the course. We sure had fun trying though. When our daughter was born, he was so patient and gentle with her. We will miss our faithful and loyal friend, and we are grateful for Home to Heaven for making his passing one of peace and comfort.
